Yeni Nesil Sanat:Dijital Sanat – Danende Topluluğu

Mona Lisa, Son Akşam Yemeği, 9. Senfoni… Hepsi, üstad olarak görülen değerli sanatçıların eserleridir. İnsanların ruhunu okşayan, hislerine tercüman olan bu eserler ve daha fazlası bir müzik aleti, birkaç renk boya, belki bir fotoğraf makinesi ile ortaya çıkar ya da çıkardı. Bir duygu veya tasarının dışavurumunda kullanılan yöntemlerin tamamı sanattır yani kullanılan malzemenin veya yöntemin değişmesi her şeyde olduğu gibi elbette sanatta da mümkündür. Günümüzde kitapların e-kitap, postaların e-posta olduğunu ve böylece dijital platforma taşındığını dikkate alırsak sanatın da bu alanda yerini almasına şaşırmamak gerekir. Çünkü teknoloji sanatı da eline aldı ve artık bu eserler de dijital ortamda oluşturulmaya başlandı. “Dijital Sanat” adı verilen bu sanat türü insanların hislerini yansıtması, yeni ufuklara yelken açması için yeni ortam ve olanaklar sunuyor. Önceden kâğıtla, kalemle sınırlı kalanları bambaşka noktalara taşıyarak mühendislik dehası olan algoritmalarla dijital ortamdaki bu sanat eserlerini meydana getiriyor. Yazılan bu üstün algoritmalar sayesinde dijital ortama taşınan sanat eserleri de yeni üstatlar, yeni sanatçılar doğurdu. Mühendislerle sanatçıların oluşumunu birlikte üstlendiği bu eserler de şaşırtıcı derecede hayranlık uyandırıcı. Bütün bunlar aslında teknolojinin sadece bilimsel sonuçlar doğurmayacağının da bir kanıtıdır. Bu sanat türü ile ilgilenmek isteyenler sadece algoritma yazarak bunu yapmak zorunda değildir. Bunun için programlar zaten hâlihazırda bulunmaktadır: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, My Paint, ArtRage, Autodesk Sketchbook, Paint Tool SAI bunlardan bazılarıdır.

Dijital sanatın birçok örneğinin olması bu eserlerden oluşan pek çok serginin açılmasını sağlamıştır. Tarihteki ilk dijital sanat sergisi Londra’da 1960’lı yıllarda açılmıştır. Christiane Paul dijital sanatın gelişimini özetlerken bundan da şu şekilde bahsediyor: “Sanat ve teknolojinin kesişim noktası endüstriyel çağdan elektronik alana geçişle olmuştur. 1966 yılında Amerika’da kurulan Sanat ve Teknoloji Deneyleri (EAT) kuruluşu sanatçılar ve mühendisler arasında etkili bir işbirliği geliştirmeyi hedefliyordu Dijital sanat alanında öncü sayılan ‘Cybernetics Serendipity’ isimli ilk sergi 1968 yılında Londra’da açıldı. Sanat değeri olan çok eser olmasa da bu alandaki araştırmalar sanatsal yaratının, yeteneğin yanı sıra bilgisayarlar aracılığıyla da yapılabileceğini ortaya koymaya çalışıyordu Yetenekli kişilerin elindeki sanatı daha geniş kitlelere yayarak demokratikleştirmeyi hedefliyordu.” Bu sergiden Lejaren A. Hiller’in 1957’deki Illiac Suite’i dijital sanat konusunda dönüm noktası olarak görülmektedir.

New generation art: Digital art, Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, 9th symphony… All of them are the masterpieces of the master artists. All these works that caress the soul of a person, interprets the feelings and more; used to come out with a few paints, a photograph machine, or a musical instrument. All of these methods used in the expression of a feeling are art. Namely, the change of the methods or the materials is also possible in art as usual. If we consider that the books became e-book and the mails became e-mail and they are all on digital platform right now, it shouldn’t be surprising to see art moved to the digital platform. Because technology has seized art and all the works are started to be done digitally. The new kind of art named ”Digital Art” that expresses people’s feelings offers new atmosphere and opportunities. The engineering marvel algorithms provide the opportunity to make art in a digital environment for those limited to paper and pen. The new works carried to the digital platform owing to the algorithms, it led to the emergence of new masters and artists. The new art pieces that were undertaken by engineers and artists are surprisingly admirable. All of these are the actual proof that technology does not only creates scientific resolutions. those who are interested in this, do not have to make new algorithms because there are already some ready ones such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, My Paint, ArtRage, Autodesk, Sketchbook, Paint Tool SAI.

There are a lot of works that, there are some art exhibitions on this already. The first digital art exhibition was opened in the 1960s in London. While Christiane Paul talks about the evolution of digital art, he says ”The point of intersection of art and technology emerged from the transition from the industrial era to the electronic field. The institution of Experiment of Art and Technology (EAT) established in 1966 in America was aiming to improve a cooperation between engineers and artists. The first gallery, ‘Cybernetics Serendipity’, which is a pioneer in digital art, was opened in 1968 in London. The aim was not to have so much perfectly done art pieces but to show that in addition to the ability, art can be made with a computer too and the second aim was to democratize the art in the hands of talented people by spreading them to wider audiences”. From the gallery, Lejaren A. Hiller’s Illiac Suite in 1957 is seen as a turning point in digital art.
